How to integrate Rotaready with CPL Learning.

Installation

To enable the integration you must reach out to your account manager at CPL Learning and request for an 'API Key'. Be sure to let them know it’s for Rotaready, so they know to grant access to the relevant endpoints.

❗️ It's beneficial to include your Rotaready Customer Success Manager in any communication with CPL Learning regarding the integration, so that the below mappings can be configured on your behalf.

Mapping your users

User mappings will allow the integration to match your users in Rotaready against your users already set up in CPL. This will ensure that the integration doesn't create duplicate employees in CPL when it is first turned on.

To map your employees, CPL will need to set the Employee reference field for each of your employees in CPL to match the employee's User ID in Rotaready (this can be found for each employee by exporting an employee details report).

For any new users added to Rotaready once the integration has been enabled, the Employee reference in CPL will be set automatically as required.

Mapping your sites

Site mappings will allow the integration to understand which site or department an employee should belong to. To map your sites, CPL will need to set the Site reference field for each site in CPL as the corresponding Entity ID in Rotaready (a list of Entity IDs can be retrieved from your Rotaready Customer Success Manager).

⚠️ All job roles in CPL Learning will need to match exactly the positions set in Rotaready ahead of enabling the integration, you can retrieve a list of your job positions in Rotaready from your Customer Success Manager.
